99% of births in the US take place in the hospital, not because it's the "safest" but because birth has been normalized in our society as a medical event. Birth is a physiological event and many women would actually be safer birthing at home! 

Birth has taken place at home since the beginning of time, let's take back our power and bring birth back home, we were literally made to give birth!
